Interview on Iteration Videocast
Interview / Product Design / AI / Design Process
I was invited to Iteration Videocast, a leading Persian podcast on product design, to talk about how AI tools are transforming every stage of the product design process, from ideation and prototyping to user research, testing, and iteration.
Overview
In this episode of Iteration Videocast, I joined Atefeh Rahdan to discuss the growing role of AI (artificial intelligence) in product design.
We talked about how AI is redefining designers’ workflows, what tools are currently being used in real-world projects, and how these changes are reshaping the boundaries between design and development.
During the conversation, we shared examples from our experience using AI in large-scale products, explored the potential and limitations of current tools, and reflected on how AI is influencing creativity, collaboration, and the future of design work.
About the Conversation
In this interview, we explored how AI is impacting each step of the product design process, from early research and ideation to visual design, prototyping, and testing.
I shared insights on how tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, Bolt, and Lovable are being integrated into design workflows and how designers are using AI agents to automate repetitive or time-consuming tasks.
We also discussed the shift toward no-code and AI-assisted prototyping, where designers can quickly test ideas and validate concepts without waiting for engineering cycles.
Another key topic was how AI is helping teams with user research, data analysis, and competitive benchmarking, and how these capabilities are redefining what “design work” means.
